The Panhard Dyna Junior

Launched in 1951 to compete with convertibles and roadsters across the Channel and win in America, the Dyna will have mixed success, with only 4,707 models sold. Offered as a roaster then as a convertible, it will not appeal to American customers. On the other hand, it will meet its public in France, with "young people and those who know how to remain so". With its beginnings of the excellent 745 cm3 flat twin-cylinder (4CV and 4CV Sprint versions), it will benefit from the 851 cm3 (5CV and 5CV Sprint versions) developing 42 horses from 1953. After a deserved restyling in 1954, the sales stagnate. She ended her career in 1956, failing to find her place in the face of more modern and better finished competition.
